THE PILOT PROGRAMME
The Inner Action Method is delivered as a structured 8-week pilot - a defined engagement designed to demonstrate measurable, observable impact before any long-term commitment is made.
This is not a taster session or a workshop series. It is a full operational deployment of the protocol, embedded into the club's existing environment.
How It's Delivered
Sessions are delivered on-site, two to four times per week across the eight weeks. On days without a scheduled session, players independently practise assigned techniques - spatial and situational awareness training, or mental simulation - as part of their daily preparation.
Sessions are delivered as a team. The cohesion effect that the protocol produces requires shared practice - it cannot be replicated individually.
Condensed pre-match sessions are available for clubs that want players neurologically primed before kickoff. Match day presence also allows for halftime recalibration - resetting the brain and body to be fully receptive to the coach's instructions and tactical adjustments going into the second half.

What Each Session Involves
Every session follows the same structural logic:
Show. The neuroscience behind what's happening in the brain and body under pressure - and what the technique is designed to do about it.
Tell. Players are walked through what they're about to practice and why it compounds over time. Visuals are used throughout. Players are encouraged to take notes - this feeds directly into a later stage of the protocol.
Do. The technique is practiced as a group. Each session builds on the last - progressive accumulation, the same way strength or stamina training works, with the addition of reinforced synaptic plasticity.
Reaffirm. A debrief segment consolidates what was practiced and anchors the neurological work before the session closes.
The protocol is independent of technology. Players can implement every technique without equipment or applications. It is designed to become part of their default state - wired in through repetition and plasticity, not dependent on external tools.

What The Club Can Measure
The protocol does not require new infrastructure. Clubs can track impact through data points they already monitor - HRV and physical output via GPS vests, in-game performance metrics, and recovery timelines for both match-fit and injured players - and of course, overall match performance.
I work with the club's existing performance staff to identify the most relevant markers and establish a baseline at the start of the pilot.
How The Club Can Prepare For The Protocol
-
On-site induction to the training ground and facility to prepare the optimal space for the duration of the pilot.
-
A maximum of two hours per session - with myself being adaptable where the work demands it.
-
Provide a 15-minute window before match day preparations for pre-match priming and halftime recalibration.
-
Collaboration on relevant performance data to establish baselines and track progress.
One Club. One Commitment.
When I work with a club, that club has my complete and undivided focus - on the training ground, on match days, and off the pitch. I don't work with other clubs during that period. Not in the same league, not in any other. The competitive advantage this creates belongs entirely to the club I'm working with.
No Virtual Substitutes
Every session is delivered in person. No video calls, no remote workarounds. The quality of the work demands physical presence. That's what you get.
Beyond The Pilot
Eight weeks is enough to demonstrate what the protocol does. It is not enough to complete what it starts. Neurological change compounds over time - the real value of the Inner Action Method is what it builds across a full season, and becomes hardwired into every player it serves.
The pilot is the proof of concept. The seasonal retainer is where the competitive advantage becomes structural.
