ASH JONES — FOUNDER, THE INNER ACTION METHOD

I understand what elite environments demand - standards, accountability, no tolerance for anything that doesn't translate to performance. Everything in the protocol exists for one reason: does it make the player more composed, more aware, and more effective on the pitch? If it doesn't, it's cut.

I know the game. I played to a near semi-professional level, and that background isn't incidental - it's why the protocol is built for football's specific demands rather than adapted from generic performance theory.

I've spent nearly a decade as an independent researcher in neuroscience and behavioural science - not in an academic institution, but in the field. Building protocols, testing them under real pressure, and refining them for the people who needed them most.

That work led to a research partnership with Dr. Darius Campinha-Bacote, PsyD, HSP, Licensed Clinical Psychologist, consultant to the NFL and VA. For over five years, I've advised on findings from my studies, contributed to his clinical work, and was requested by both Dr. Campinha-Bacote and Dallas County Corrections Department to design and deliver a 12-week diversionary programme for males aged 14-17 at moderate to high risk.

The brief was behavioural change - reducing impulsive antisocial behaviour and improving long-term prospects. The programme was built on the same principles that underpin The Inner Action Method.

I've worked with senior professionals across large corporations, hedge funds, and institutional banks - delivering both group programmes and one-to-one sessions with traders and asset managers responsible for significant portfolios. The goal was consistent: keep decision-making clean under pressure. Stress is capital in those environments - it compounds, it distorts judgement, and it costs. The work focused on building resilience that holds when conditions are at their worst, and giving people the ability to reset and recalibrate in real time rather than after the damage is done.

Prior to The Inner, I operated at an executive level across multiple industries - running operations, rebuilding failing businesses, and performing under the kind of pressure that tests whether what you know actually holds when it matters.

What I bring into a club environment isn't motivation or mindset coaching: It's structural change - in how players process pressure, reset after mistakes, and execute when the game demands it most. I don't let players dwell on errors. I teach them to acknowledge what happened from a position that's already facing forward.

The Inner Action Method doesn't replace what a club has built. It reinforces it -neurologically, progressively, and permanently.
